Job Summary:
As a Data Management Office General Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the organization’s data management strategy, ensuring data quality, implementing data policies and procedures, and leading a team of data professionals.
Job Responsibility:
– Develop and implement data management strategies and policies to ensure data accuracy, security, and accessibility.
– Oversee data governance processes and standards to meet regulatory and compliance requirements.
– Lead and mentor a team of data professionals to achieve data management objectives.
– Collaborate with IT teams to ensure data integrity and integration across systems.
– Analyze data management processes and recommend improvements for efficiency and effectiveness.
– Manage relationships with internal stakeholders to understand data needs and provide data-driven solutions.
– Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in data management to drive innovation.
Candidate Requirements:
– Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
– Proven experience in data management, with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
– Strong knowledge of data governance, data quality, data integration, and data security.
– Excellent leadership and communication skills to effectively lead a team and collaborate with stakeholders.
– Demonstrated ability to develop and implement data management strategies that align with business goals.
– Certifications in data management (CDMP, CDP, etc.) are a plus.
