Data Governance Project Lead (SME) 1 Year Contract (Onsite Dubai)

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Governance Project Lead (SME) to join our onsite team in Dubai. This role is critical in implementing a Data Management framework across the organization ensuring the successful implementation of policies, procedures, and best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the implementation of Data Governance frameworks policies and procedures.
Oversee project planning, budgeting, risk management, and execution.
Ensure compliance with banking regulations and data management standards.
Collaborate with
cross-functional teams
to drive Data Operationalization.
Manage the end-to-end of data governance initiatives and projects.
Utilize Data Governance tools such as Informatica DEQ, EDC, AXON, etc.
Provide subject matter expertise on data governance strategy and best practices.
Key Requirements:
12 years of experience in Data Governance & Data Management preferably within Banking & Financial Services.
Strong background in
Project Management
&
Change Management
.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, or related field;
Master’s preferred.
Hands-on experience
with Data Strategy implementation and governance tools.
Proficiency in English is required;
Arabic is a huge plus.
Strong stakeholder management,
communication
, and decision-making skills.
Ability to take initiative and drive projects in a
fast-paced environment
.
