We are seeking an experienced Data Governance Lead to drive our Data Governance Activation Program, strengthen metadata management, and improve data quality and ownership across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the organization’s Data Governance Activation Program.
* Facilitate business workshops to define and develop the Business Glossary.
* Collaborate with technical teams to map business glossary terms to technical metadata.
* Deliver Data Governance training sessions and awareness programs for business users.
* Develop, enhance, and maintain the Data Governance Framework.
* Create, review, and update Data Governance policies, standards, and procedures.
* Drive data governance adoption and ensure alignment with business objectives.
* Work closely with business and technology stakeholders to improve data quality, ownership, and stewardship.
Required Skills:
* 5–7 years of experience in Data Governance, Data Management, or related disciplines.
* Strong experience creating Business Glossaries, Data Dictionaries, and Metadata Management frameworks.
* Experience conducting stakeholder workshops and governance training sessions.
* Strong understanding of Data Governance frameworks, policies, standards, and best practices.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
* Experience with Data Governance and Metadata Management tools is preferred.
