We are seeking a hands-on Data Governance Engineer to design, implement, and automate enterprise data governance capabilities across modern cloud data platforms for one of our esteemed client in UAE – Dubai.
Mandatory experience:
• Hands-on implementation experience with Microsoft Purview, Collibra, Alation, or Informatica
• Data Catalog, Metadata Management, and Data Lineage
• Data Quality Engineering using Soda, Great Expectations, Collibra DQ, or similar tools
• Strong SQL and Python scripting skills
• Experience embedding governance controls into ETL/ELT pipelines and data platforms
• Data Classification, Access Controls, and Stewardship workflows
• Exposure to Azure, AWS, or GCP environments
Preferred:
• Experience with Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Synapse, or Microsoft Fabric
• DAMA CDMP, Purview, or cloud certifications
• Experience with governance automation and CI/CD integration
This is a highly technical engineering role focused on implementation and automation, rather than policy or documentation-based governance.
