This requirement is for our Dubai Banking client.
Requirement Minimum
Work Experience:
10+ Years as a Data Engineer Responsibilities and Requirements:
Extensive experience in Big Data technologies (Hadoop Stack like Map Reduce, HDFS, Pig, Spark, Hive, HBase, Flume, Sqoop, No
SQL stores like Cassandra, HBase, etc.) and contribution to open-source Big Data projects.
Proficiency in writing and tuning complex Java, Map Reduce, and Hive jobs.
Experience leading a Backend/Distributed Data Systems team while remaining
hands-on
.
Manage a team of data engineers (full-time and/or third-party resources).
Experience with
stream-processing systems such as Spark Streaming, Storm, etc.
Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Scala, and object-oriented languages such as Java and C++.Knowledge of scripting languages including Java, C++, Linux, Ruby, PHP, Python, and R.Experience designing and building dimensional data models to enhance data accessibility, efficiency, and quality.
Proficiency in writing advanced SQL and performance tuning of SQL queries.
Experience with
relational SQL and No
SQL databases, including Postgres and Cassandra.
Knowledge of Azure cloud services is a plus.
Financial Services domain knowledge is a plus.
