Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer to support the collection, processing, and analysis of large datasets to generate actionable insights and enable data-driven decision-making. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in data engineering, statistical analysis, database management, programming, and data visualization, along with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, organize, process, and analyze large volumes of structured and unstructured data.
- Understand business problems and translate them into analytical research and data studies.
- Identify appropriate data sources and gather relevant datasets.
- Clean, validate, and prepare data for analysis to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Perform statistical and analytical evaluations to uncover trends, patterns, and insights.
- Develop and maintain data models, databases, and ETL processes.
- Design and implement algorithms to solve complex data-related challenges.
- Work with big data platforms such as Apache Spark and Hadoop for large-scale data processing.
- Create dashboards, reports, and visualizations using Power BI and Tableau.
- Present analytical findings and recommendations to stakeholders through reports and presentations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support strategic and operational decision-making.
- Ensure data integrity, quality, and compliance with organizational standards.
Required Qualifications
- Education
- Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Data Science, Economics, Information Technology, or a related analytical discipline.
- Experience
- Proven experience in data engineering, data analytics, statistical analysis, or a related analytical field.
- Hands-on experience working with large datasets and database systems.
- Experience in data modeling, database design, ETL processes, and data mining techniques.
- Experience with reporting tools and business intelligence platforms.
- Experience working with big data technologies is highly desirable.
Technical Skills
- Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, R, and Oracle.
- Experience with Apache Spark and Hadoop.
- Knowledge of XML, ETL frameworks, and JavaScript frameworks.
- Strong understanding of statistical methods and statistical analysis packages.
- Experience with database design, data modeling, and segmentation techniques.
- Proficiency in Power BI and Tableau for data visualization.
- Ability to develop and implement data processing algorithms.
