Responsibilities

Manage and oversee a specific domain of data originating from domain‑specific systems. Convert the requirements from the data product owner to a suitable solution within the established architecture.
Translate data from the source system to corporate product definitions. Optimize and improve existing data infrastructure for performance, reliability and scalability.
Develop and sustain data pipelines from source systems to central data systems.
Manage data integration processing and modelling. Provide relevant reporting that can be used by the data product owner.
Provide data access in accordance with authorisations following security and architectural guidelines.
Ensure compliance with software development guidelines and deliver quality through testing and production deployment.
Work in compliance with relevant SHE‑Q policies and continue to improve processes.

Qualifications

At least 5 years of relevant work experience as a data engineer.
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
Strong understanding of various business processes and the ability to translate business needs into technical requirements.
Experience with developing, configuring and deploying data solutions using cloud services and programming languages such as Python and SQL.
In‑depth knowledge of Azure Databricks, Python/PySpark, SQL, Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Solutions and Azure Digital Twin.
Experience in data warehousing with Kimball and generic data modelling.
