Manage vendor and colocation provider communications for equipment and personnel access.
Oversee vendor compliance with access protocols.
Data Center Operations:
Supervise racking, stacking, cabling, and labeling of equipment.
Conduct routine inspections for proper equipment setup and functionality.
Access Control & Security:
Manage access control systems and permissions.
Monitor and maintain data center cameras and surveillance systems.
Perform security audits and escalate breaches or anomalies.
Documentation & Reporting:
Maintain accurate records of equipment, access logs, and vendor activities.
Generate operational and security reports regularly.
Skills
Qualifications & Skills:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (preferred).
Experience:
3+ years in data center operations;hands-onwith racking, cabling, and vendor management.
Technical:
Familiarity with access control systems, surveillance, and data center best practices.
