Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Statistics, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar analytical role.
- Strong proficiency in Power BI, including data modeling, dashboard development, and advanced DAX functions.
- Skilled in SQL and Power Query for data extraction, cleaning, and transformation.
- Knowledge of data schemas (Star and Snowflake) and performance optimization techniques.
- Understanding of data governance, data accuracy, and quality management.
- Experience with R or Python integration in Power BI for statistical or predictive analytics (preferred).
- Strong analytical and statistical thinking skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills to present data insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to manage data gateways, connections, and user access securely.
- Continuous learning mindset and ability to adapt to evolving data analysis tools and techniques.
Job Responsibilities
- Collect and preprocess data from multiple internal and external sources, ensuring data quality and integrity.
- Clean, transform, and prepare data for analysis using Power Query and SQL.
- Build and optimize data models in Power BI for accurate and efficient reporting.
- Develop interactive dashboards and reports with DAX calculations for KPIs, rankings, and trend analysis.
- Deploy analytical models and collaborate with technical teams to integrate insights into business systems.
- Monitor and ensure data accuracy, identify inconsistencies, and implement data quality controls.
- Communicate complex analytical findings clearly and concisely to business stakeholders.
- Manage Power BI administration tasks, including gateway updates, data connections, and access control.
- Ensure secure and efficient data transfer between on-premises and cloud data sources.
- Stay updated on the latest developments in Power BI and data analytics tools, contributing to process improvements and innovation.
