Cybersecurity Lead – Renewable Power Jobs in Duba, Saudi Arabia at Air Products (Middle East) FZE

NEOM Green Hydrogen Project is part of the most complex capital project and a flagship project for Air Products. Air Products is executing a EPC Contract with the customer – NEOM Green Hydrogen Company (NGHC). Air Products have the responsibility to design, build and delivery Process Controls / Process Automation System and IT/Digital Technology infrastructure scope.
The incumbent candidate is required to provide technical leadership and accountability for cybersecurity assurance of renewable power generation and transmission systems of the NEOM Green Hydrogen Project that comprises of Solar/PV Farm, Wind farm, BESS, transmission load substations and pooling sub-stations. The role is to ensure safe, compliant, and resilient cybersecurity scope delivery through the commissioning and startup phases, up to final handover to facility operator, in alignment with Saudi Arabian regulations such as NCA, HCIS, SAIS, and project cybersecurity standards as relevant.
This position is based out of Duba, Tabuk Region, Saudi Arabia working on rotation of 8 Weeks ON / 2 Weeks OFF.
The role will be a site-based role with below duties:
- Lead a team of cybersecurity engineers and govern cybersecurity assurance for Solar PV, Wind Turbines, BESS, HV/MV substations, PPC, EMS, and grid interfaces across the project lifecycle.
- Act as the primary cybersecurity focal point for renewable power scope, interfacing with engineering, construction, commissioning, OEMs, grid interfaces, and client representatives.
- Ensure the OT cybersecurity asset registers, network architectures, zone‑conduit models, and cyber risk registers for power systems.
- Lead and approve cyber risk assessments for OEM packages and integrated systems; drive mitigation actions to closure without impacting critical path activities.
- Plan and oversee cybersecurity validation during FAT, SAT, CSAT, and performance testing of substation automation, turbine control, and plant SCADA systems.
- Govern cybersecurity readiness during commissioning and start-up, including firewall rules, secure remote access, endpoint hardening, logging, and monitoring prior to energization.
- Control and monitor third‑party and remote access, ensuring compliance during construction, startup, and early operations.
- Provide cybersecurity input to change management, ensuring design, procurement, and installation changes are assessed for cyber impact.
- Lead cybersecurity contributions to handover to operations, including access governance, incident response alignment, backup and recovery, and secure remote support models.
- Mentor and technically guide cybersecurity engineers and contractors supporting renewable power scope
