Cybersecurity Architecture Consultant (Financial Domain) for our client based in Riyadh.
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced cyber security architect to lead the design and implementation of our enterprise security architecture. The role will be responsible for developing and maintaining security standards, frameworks, and controls across our technology infrastructure. The ideal candidate combines deep technical expertise with strategic thinking to protect our organization’s digital assets while enabling business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Review architecture design of applications, identify weaknesses, and recommend action plans to mitigate identified weaknesses.
- Review architecture changes to ensure alignment with organization’s requirements.
- Good understanding of security technologies and architecture design principles.
- Lead security assessments and risk analysis activities.
- Design and implement enterprise-wide security architecture aligned with business objectives.
- Develop security policies, standards, and guidelines for the organization.
- Evaluate emerging security technologies and their potential application.
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure security requirements are met.
- Create and maintain security architecture documentation.
- Provide technical guidance on complex security issues.
- Monitor compliance with security standards and frameworks.
- Conduct security reviews of new technologies and solutions.
- Present security recommendations to executive leadership.
Qualifications
- CISSP, CISM or relevant certification. SABSA certification will be a plus.
- Banking industry experience desired (financial industry experience mandatory).
- Strong knowledge of security technologies and architecture design principles.
- Ability to review architecture changes and ensure alignment with organizational requirements.
