We are looking for a Cybersecurity Architecture Engineer (Resident Engineer) with strong hands-on experience in ServiceNow to support the client’s cybersecurity architecture and security operations. This role requires an engineer who will be stationed at the client site, serving as the primary point of contact for managing cybersecurity workflows, requests, incidents, and change processes through ServiceNow while supporting cybersecurity architecture initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the on-site cybersecurity resident engineer, supporting the client’s cybersecurity architecture team.
- Manage and administer cybersecurity workflows using ServiceNow, including Incident, Change, Request, and Problem Management.
- Create, track, update, and close security-related tickets in ServiceNow while ensuring SLA compliance.
- Coordinate with cybersecurity, infrastructure, and application teams through ServiceNow to resolve security requests and incidents.
- Support security architecture implementation and operational activities.
- Maintain accurate documentation, records, and reports within ServiceNow.
- Assist in security assessments, change reviews, and implementation activities.
- Ensure cybersecurity processes are followed and properly documented using ServiceNow.
- Escalate complex technical issues to senior cybersecurity architects or engineering teams when necessary.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in cybersecurity, IT security, or security operations.
- Mandatory hands-on experience with ServiceNow, particularly:
- Incident Management
- Change Management
- Request Management
- Problem Management
- IT Service Management (ITSM) workflows
- Experience managing security operations and cybersecurity processes through ServiceNow.
- Good understanding of cybersecurity principles, enterprise security operations, and security architecture concepts.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in a client-facing resident engineer role.
