This is a frontline banking role based in branches, handling cash transactions + walk-in customer service.

Job Description:

1. Cash handling & transactions (core duty)

Process deposits, withdrawals, and transfers

Handle cash, cheques, and financial instruments

Balance cash drawers at the end of the day

Ensure all transactions match bank records

2. Customer service (branch-based)

Assist walk-in customers with banking needs

Answer questions about accounts, cards, and services

Provide a professional and welcoming experience

Resolve basic customer issues

3. Compliance & procedures

Follow strict banking policies and regulations

Ensure accuracy and security in all transactions

Detect and report discrepancies (e.g., excess/short cash)

Maintain confidentiality of customer information

4. Reporting & documentation

Prepare end-of-day transaction reports

Maintain records of transactions

Assist with branch documentation and audits

5. Problem-solving & coordination

Handle customer complaints related to transactions

Escalate complex issues to supervisors

Coordinate with other departments if needed

Skills Required:

Strong numerical and cash-handling skills

Attention to detail and accuracy

Customer service and communication skills

Knowledge of banking systems and procedures

Ability to work under pressure in busy branches
