Provide prompt and efficient responses to customer questions

The role primarily focuses on ensuring efficient logistics processes, inventory management, and timely delivery of materials and products.
Key Responsibilities: Supply chain planning: Develop and implement supply chain strategies, including demand forecasting, inventory management, and procurement planning.
Collaborate with internal teams and head office to optimize supply chain processes and ensure timely availability of materials.
Inventory management: Monitor inventory levels, analyze demand patterns, and optimize stock levels to minimize costs and meet customer requirements.
Coordinate transportation activities, including shipping, customs clearance, and distribution.
Collaborate with logistics providers, freight forwarders, and carriers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of materials and products.
Evaluate and select service providers based on quality, reliability, and cost.
Negotiate contracts, manage warehouse relationships, and track warehouse performance to ensure adherence to quality and delivery standards.
Risk management: Identify potential supply chain risks and develop contingency plans to mitigate disruptions.
Monitor market trends, geopolitical factors, and regulatory changes that may impact logistics and supply chain operations.
Data analysis and optimization: Analyze supply chain data, including transportation costs, lead times, and order fulfillment rates, to identify areas for improvement.
Utilize data analytics tools and software to optimize logistics processes and enhance supply chain efficiency.
Continuous improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Identify process bottlenecks, implement process improvements, and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure success.
Collaboration and communication: Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including production teams, sales, and customer service, to ensure alignment of supply chain activities with organizational goals.
Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners to facilitate smooth operations.
Strong knowledge of logistics and supply chain management principles, processes, and best practices.
Familiarity with inventory management software, transportation management systems (TMS), and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
Understanding of international trade regulations, customs procedures, and shipping documentation.
Experience in logistics and supply chain management within the engineering and manufacturing industry is advantageous.

Requirements:

Min 3 years UAE or MENA experience
Bachelor’s Degree
Driving License
