Position: Permanent – Customer Experience Executive Mall
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Greets customers including answering phones and directing customer inquiries to appropriate party
Answers routine billing questions/issues from customers
Assists in the opening and closing of the store which includes cash handling and deposits
Completes, processes, and maintains applicable paperwork and records. Manages the daily till (Cash/Deposit) and till procedures. Handles goods and delivers them to the clients.
Optimizes greeting (Greetings/Department at the end of the sales transaction)
Effectively trains and directs the activities of cashiers assigned to the front end and sets the standard for customer service. Provides on-the-job training to junior cashiers
Accepts cash, cheques, wire transfers or credit cards for payment and completes cheque and credit card transactions according to established procedures and guidelines
Ensures register/counter areas are neat and stocked with necessary supplies
Identifies prices of goods using memory or scanner
Enters transactions in the cash register and provides customers with the total bill
Sorts and counts currency and coins
Issues receipts and change to customers
Counts money at the end and beginning of each shift
Processes credit card and check payments
Performs the duties of customer service representative when required
Assists in stocking shelves, rotating merchandise, and marking prices
Opens and closes tills
REQUIREMENTS
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Detail oriented and highly observant
Ability to multitask
Possesses strong mathematical skills
Cash handling experience preferred
Proven good customer service background
Professional behavior
