United Gulf Equipment & Machinery LLC, based in Sharjah, UAE, is a leading provider of Heavy Equipment, Aerial Work Platforms (AWP/MEWP), construction machinery, spare parts, rental solutions and after sales services across the UAE and GCC region. We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Credit Control Manager to lead our credit management and accounts receivable functions, ensuring effective cash flow management and minimizing credit risk across our operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the Credit Control and Accounts Receivable team.
- Develop and implement effective credit control policies and collection strategies.
- Review customer credit applications and approve credit limits based on risk assessments.
- Monitor customer accounts, aging reports and collection performance.
- Drive timely collection of outstanding receivables and reduce overdue balances.
- Manage high value and critical customer accounts.
- Negotiate payment plans and resolve collection disputes professionally.
- Work closely with Sales, Service, Parts, Rental and Finance departments to improve collection efficiency.
- Monitor Days Sales Outstanding (DSO) and implement initiatives to improve cash flow.
- Prepare monthly credit control reports, collection forecasts and management dashboards.
- Recommend actions for bad debt recovery and legal escalation when required.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and financial controls.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, Business Administration, or a related discipline, with a professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA, CMA, CA or an equivalent certification highly preferred.
- Minimum 3–5 years of managerial experience leading a Credit Control or Collections team, with mandatory UAE experience.
- Previous experience in the Heavy Equipment, Construction Equipment and Heavy Machinery Rental industry is highly preferred.
- Strong credit risk assessment and financial analysis skills.
- Proven experience in debt collection and accounts receivable management.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
- Advanced knowledge of ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Odoo, IFS, etc.).
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting.
- Ability to work under pressure and achieve collection targets.

- Senior Credit Controller: 3 years (Required)
