Role Summary
As a Creative Staff Member, you will plan and deliver high-quality creative workshops while ensuring every participant enjoys a fun, safe and memorable experience. Crochet and embroidery are essential requirements for this role, and you will also support a variety of arts and crafts activities across Spark
Key Responsibilities :
* Plan and deliver engaging crochet and embroidery workshops for children and families.
* Teach crochet and embroidery techniques in a simple, fun and age-appropriate way.
* Support additional arts and crafts, DIY projects and seasonal creative activities.
* Encourage creativity, confidence and self-expression through hands-on learning.
* Prepare activity stations and ensure all materials are organised before each session.
* Create attractive sample projects and displays.
* Maintain a clean, safe and inspiring creative environment.
* Monitor stock levels and recommend craft materials and supplies.
* Support birthday parties, camps, workshops, school visits and special events.
* Build positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues.
* Ensure every workshop reflects Spark’s premium customer experience and safety standards.
Qualifications & Skills :
Essential (Mandatory)
* Proven experience in both Crochet and Embroidery.
* Ability to confidently teach crochet and embroidery to children and beginners.
* Creative, artistic and detail-oriented.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Friendly, patient and enthusiastic personality.
* Professional appearance and positive attitude.
* Strong teamwork and organisational skills.
Peferred
- Experience leading children’s workshops or creative classes.
- Skills in additional crafts such as knitting, sewing, macramé, weaving, quilting or textile art.
- Background in Fine Arts, Fashion, Textiles, Design, Education or a related field.
- First Aid certification is an advantage.
