TECO is a global leader in electric motors, electromechanical systems, electrification, and integrated industrial and energy solutions. As part of our global expansion, we are establishing a new operating entity in the Middle East and are seeking a Country Head / General Manager to lead TECO’s regional presence.
This role will be responsible for building the organization, driving business growth, and representing TECO’s motor-driven, electromechanical, and system integration capabilities across the region.
Job Description
- Lead the overall management of TECO Middle East, including organizational structure and local operations.
- Drive regional business development and market expansion, with a focus on TECO’s core strengths in electric motors, electromechanical systems, electrification, and integrated solutions.
- Act as the primary local representative for TECO with customers, partners, EPC contractors, key accounts, and industry stakeholders.
- Build, lead, and develop a high-performing local team, fostering strong execution, accountability, and cross-cultural collaboration.
- Coordinate closely with global engineering, project, and solution teams from Headquarters and Europe to align market needs with global capabilities.
- Support and oversee solution delivery and project efforts across energy, electrification, infrastructure, data centers, and industrial systems, leveraging TECO’s product and system integration expertise.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Engineering or Business.
- 12+ years of professional experience, including senior leadership roles in the Middle East.
- Solid background in motor, energy, industrial, electromechanical, EPC, or integrated solution-based businesses.
- Strong understanding of regional markets, business culture, and commercial practices in the Middle East.
- Proven experience working closely with global HQs or multicultural, multinational teams.
- Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and execution capabilities.
- Fluent in English; Arabic proficiency is a strong advantage.
