JOB PURPOSE
The Counter Sales Associate is responsible for selling displayed food items, organizing counter operations, and ensuring all orders are prepared and served on time.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Greet and serve walk-in customers, providing high-level service through product knowledge and adherence to procedures.
Process orders from waiters, arrange them according to service standards, and ensure timely delivery.
Receive daily orders, check against specifications, display in the fridge, restock regularly, and maintain hygiene and presentation standards.
Participate in opening and closing duties as per norms and procedures.
Maintain records, including training, taste panels, and wastage forms. Report complaints or issues promptly.
Handle cash transactions, exchanges, and payments according to policies.
Coordinate with stakeholders to place product orders.
Prepare takeaway orders, ensuring proper wrapping and accommodating special requests.
Communicate operational details clearly to the team and document handovers in the logbook.
Maintain cleanliness through hygiene practices and sanitization.
Complete monthly inventory for all disposables.
QUALIFICATIONS
Language & Technical Skills: Fluency in English.
Education: High school degree.
Experience: Zero to one year in Customer Service or similar roles.
