JASARA PMC is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Cost Engineer to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities
Develop and prepare detailed cost estimates for various phases of civil engineering projects
Monitor and report on project costs, variances, and forecasts throughout the project lifecycle
Work with project teams to maintain and update project budgets and financial reports
Analyze and review contractor bids and proposals for cost competitiveness
Identify cost-saving opportunities and contribute to value engineering initiatives
Assist in the preparation of regular project reports and presentations to stakeholders
Stay updated on market trends and inflation rates to inform project costing
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field
A minimum of 10 years of experience in cost estimation or cost engineering in the construction industry
Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
Proficiency in cost estimation software and tools
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a team and under pressure to meet deadlines
Knowledge of construction materials, processes, and contracts
