Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Cost Controller to join our team. The Cost Controller will be responsible for monitoring, managing, and controlling costs to ensure that financial objectives are met. You will work closely with the finance and project management teams to ensure accurate tracking of project budgets and expenses.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor and analyze costs and expenditures across projects.
Prepare cost reports and forecasts to ensure projects stay within budget.
Evaluate and assess cost control methods and implement improvements.
Assist in the preparation of budgets, cost plans, and financial projections.
Review and track project-related invoices, payments, and financial records.
Collaborate with the project managers and finance teams to ensure financial compliance.
Identify potential risks or deviations from the budget and recommend corrective actions.
Prepare monthly and quarterly cost analysis reports for management review.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Cost Controller, Financial Analyst, or similar role (preferably in catering, or hospitality).
Strong understanding of financial principles, cost management, and project budgeting.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP systems, and other financial software.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work with large datasets.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
