We are currently hiring for a new Cost Control Engineer within our team in Riyadh.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and manage project budgets and cost plans
- Monitor and control project costs across projects
- Perform variance analysis and identify deviations from budgets
- Manage cash flow and track financial performance of projects
- Prepare periodic financial and performance reports for management
- Develop cost forecasts and financial projections
- Identify inefficiencies, wastage, and cost-saving opportunities
- Coordinate with project and finance teams to ensure accurate cost reporting
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Finance, Accounting, or related field
- Minimum 7 years of experience in Cost Control (preferably in construction projects)
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (data analysis, spreadsheets, reporting)
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP / Oracle preferred)
- Strong analytical skills to detect discrepancies and unjustified costs
- Solid understanding of project cost structures in construction environments
- Ability to distinguish between normal and abnormal cost variances
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Strong reporting and forecasting capabilities
