Scope:
Responsibility for receiving budget and costs data from Maintenance divisions, preparing Maintenance operations budgets and cost estimates, tracking costs and expenditures and reporting on financial performance results.
Key Duties, Responsibility & Accountabilities
- Develop and prepare Maintenance Divisions operating budgets and cost estimates in coordination with Routine Maintenance Team and Contract Admin Leader.
- Monitor actual expenditures versus planned budgets and forecasts and prepare deviation reports with explanations to the Contract Admin Leader.
- Provide other maintenance divisions with accurate information pertaining actual and planned budgets, forecasts, and expenditures.
- Identify areas of concern for potential cost overruns or under-spends; recommend actions or solutions where possible to maintain expenditure within budget.
- Participate in setting financial Key Performance Indicators for Maintenance Divisions and report on their performance or a regular basis.
- Monitor and review maintenance services’ Contractors expenditures in coordination with maintenance team and ensure that all contractors’ expenditures are within budget.
- Utilize the SAP system to support effective budget decision making and financial monitoring and management.
- Review Contractor’s cost reports and work progress and provide comments and recommendations to budget holder
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the Contract Admin Leader.
- Invoice Verification
- Supporting Material and Services Procurement Division (MSPD) in commercial evaluations and providing feedback to MSPD for on-going contracts for cost optimization and better control.
- Providing accruals and other data to budget & planning Analyst for Management reports.
- Covering Cost/Contracts Engineer during his absence.
- Writing instructions/procedures for invoicing in the light of contract.
Requirements:
- Technical/ Vocational Diploma or, Associate Degree in the related field.
- 8+ years of experience in similar technical/ industrial field of work.
- Strong knowledge of maintenance services budget and cost control.
- Ability to monitor all cost aspects of maintenance services.
- Ability to develop & prepare Maintenance Operating Budget and Cost Estimates.
- Conversant with SAP and Microsoft Office applications.
- Monitor and review maintenance services’ Contractors expenditures.
