Job Description – Cost Accountant
Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Cost Accountant to enhance our team. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 4 years of experience, with hands-on experience in construction manufacturing plants and strong knowledge of cost accounting and production cost analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, analyze, and monitor production costs and manufacturing expenses.
- Monitor and analyze cost variances and identify their causes.
- Prepare cost, production, and related management reports.
- Monitor raw material, labor, and manufacturing overhead costs.
- Prepare and review product costing to ensure accurate cost calculations.
- Analyze actual production costs against planned or standard costs.
- Collaborate with Production, Procurement, and Finance teams to monitor and control costs.
- Prepare periodic cost reports to support management decision-making.
- Utilize accounting systems and Excel to prepare and analyze financial and cost data.
