Role Description This full-time, on-site Cooperative Training – Biochemistry (R&D / Production) role at Haven Scientific in Thuwal (KAUST) provides hands-on experience in both research and development and production environments. The trainee supports laboratory experiments by preparing reagents, handling biological samples, operating basic lab equipment, and assisting with data collection and documentation according to standard operating procedures.
Two tracks open:
R&D: Support experiment design, run assays under supervision, maintain lab notebooks, contribute to literature reviews.
Production: Support batch processing, follow SOPs precisely, assist equipment prep/cleaning, maintain production logs.
Looking for: Final-year molecular biology / biotech / life sciences student, enrolled in an official university co-op program.
