We have been retained by a leading global crypto exchange undergoing rapid evolution into a multi-product financial platform spanning trading, payments, wealth, and institutional solutions.
As the business scales across regions and regulatory environments, our client is seeking a Chief Operating Officer to drive global execution, performance, and operational discipline at group level. Reporting to the Founder, this role owns end-to-end P&L and ensures alignment between central strategy and regional delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Own global P&L, driving revenue growth, cost efficiency, and profitability
- Lead regional business heads, instilling accountability and execution rigour
- Define and implement operating strategy across multiple markets
- Scale market expansion leveraging local regulatory and commercial dynamics
- Optimise performance across a diversified product suite (trading, payments, wealth, institutional)
- Establish KPI frameworks and embed data-driven decision making
- Partner cross-functionally (Product, Tech, Compliance) to enable scalable growth
- Identify new revenue streams and strategic growth initiatives
- Drive operational excellence across all markets
Candidate Profile
- Senior executive with proven global P&L ownership
- Track record scaling high-growth, complex businesses across multiple markets
- Strong understanding of international regulatory and commercial landscapes
- Experience in crypto, fintech, or adjacent digital sectors preferred
- Strategic and hands-on operator with a strong commercial mindset
- Data-led decision maker with high execution intensity
- Able to influence senior stakeholders across regions and functions
- Fluent English required; Mandarin advantageous
