Job Summary
The Chief Operating Officer (COO) is responsible for overseeing the hospital's day-to-day operations and ensuring the efficient delivery of high-quality healthcare services. The role provides strategic and operational leadership across clinical and non-clinical departments, driving operational excellence, patient satisfaction, financial performance, and compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership and oversee daily hospital operations to ensure efficient, safe, and high-quality service delivery
- Collaborate with executive leadership to develop and implement operational strategies that support the hospital's goals and long-term growth
- Monitor operational performance, key performance indicators (KPIs), and resource utilization to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence
- Lead cross-functional teams to enhance patient experience, service quality, and organizational efficiency while ensuring effective coordination between departments
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, accreditation standards, regulatory requirements, and patient safety initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Hospital Administration, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
- Minimum 10 years of progressive leadership experience in hospital operations or healthcare management, including senior management responsibilities
- Extensive healthcare or hospital leadership experience is required
- Strong knowledge of hospital operations, quality management, financial performance, and regulatory compliance
- Fluency in Arabic and English languages
