Responsibilities:
Understands the Contract documents and various standard forms of Contract (FIDIC etc.)
Manages various FIDIC and other Bespoke forms of Contracts and Standard Methods of Measurements viz. POMI and CESMM
Undertakes quantities take-off as per the standard method of measurement (CESMM, POMI, etc.)
Drafts, LOA’s/ LOI’s, Contracts / Sub-Contracts, Correspondences, and supports Contracts Manager in all contractual and commercial activities
Establishes, manages and enforces document management process to control and monitor all Contracts / Sub-Contracts / LOAs/ LOI’s prepared for the Company
Reviews variations received from various subcontractors for the Client submission, Internal variations with the subcontractors /scope gaps and asses in line with Conditions of Contract/Subcontract
Advises on the contracts against Vendor/Service Provider/Subcontractor’s Variation and claim
Ensures timely submission of monthly payment applications and liaise with Client/Consultant for the release of Payment Certificates within the stipulated time as per the Contract
Identifies, notifies, and submits all Variations/Claims/Value Engineering/Cost proposal/ abortive works/Loss & Expense Claims, etc. along with full substantiations as per the Contract
Overseas all Subcontracts from Selection to Close-out, final accounts
Maintains and updates various logs
Drafts correspondences to the Engineer/Client/Subcontractor on all contractual matters in coordination with the project team
Prepares cash flow/revenue projections and updates monthly in coordination with the Finance Department
Processes subcontractor Invoices within the time frame; coordinates with the operation team for their approval on % progress
Notifies subcontractors in relation to all contractual & commercial matters in the project
Prepares and maintains logs for the subcontractor’s payments/variations/claims /contra charges etc.
Qualifications Requirements:
6 -8 years of experience in UAE with a similar position in the Civil/Infrastructure field
Proven ability in providing reports and commercial information
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Cost Engineering
