Job Purpose
Lead and support all contracts and claims activities at the project level, ensuring contractual compliance, risk mitigation, and effective management of variations and claims to protect the company’s commercial interests.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and analyze contractual documents and identify potential risks.
- Evaluate and assess Variation Orders (VOs), including contractual and financial implications.
- Lead the preparation and review of claims, including Extension of Time (EoT) submissions.
- Coordinate with engineering, construction, and commercial teams to gather data required for claims.
- Review subcontractors’ claims and provide recommendations.
- Support the management of major subcontract agreements.
- Maintain and update logs for contractual correspondences and claims.
- Prepare periodic dashboards and reports covering variations, claims, disputes, and key risks.
- Monitor project performance in line with contractual rights and obligations.
- Support project handover and closeout processes, including obtaining Taking Over and Performance Certificates.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil or Architectural).
- Minimum 12 years of experience, including 5–7 years in contracts and claims roles.
- Strong experience in infrastructure or large-scale construction projects.
- Strong expertise in Claims, EoT, and Variation Orders
- Solid understanding of contract management and risk assessment
- High analytical skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
