Position: Contract Manager – RE Client – 15+ Years

This is an excellent opportunity for a Contract Manager to join a well-respected property development team in the construction department. The successful candidate will oversee contractual agreements to ensure timely execution and completion of a portfolio of hospitality and mixed-use projects in KSA.

Description

Contract Development and Negotiation

Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, including contractor & consultant agreements, service contracts, and supplier agreements.

Collaborate with legal, procurement, and project teams to ensure contract terms align with company policies and objectives.

Negotiate terms and conditions with vendors and contractors to secure favorable outcomes.

Ensure that all contracts meet regulatory and legal requirements.

Contract Administration

Maintain a centralized contract database for tracking milestones, deliverables, and obligations.

Monitor compliance with contractual terms, including payment schedules, performance metrics, and project timelines.

Manage contract changes, amendments, and extensions in accordance with company procedures.

Identify and mitigate potential risks related to contracts.

Risk Management and Compliance

Ensure compliance with local laws, regulations, and company policies.

Identify potential contractual risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.

Conduct regular audits of contract performance and documentation.

Stakeholder Collaboration

Work closely with project managers, procurement teams, and other departments to understand project requirements and objectives.

Act as the primary point of contact for all contract-related inquiries and disputes.

Reporting and Documentation

Prepare regular reports on contract status, risks, and key performance indicators (KPIs).

Ensure all contract-related documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and stored securely.

Profile

A successful Contract Manager should have:

Educational Background

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Law, Construction Management, or a related field.

Advanced certifications such as Certified Commercial Contracts Manager (CCCM) or equivalent are a plus.

Professional Experience

Minimum 15 years of experience in contract management, preferably in the real estate or construction industry in KSA.

Demonstrated experience in drafting, negotiating, and managing complex contracts.

Skills and Competencies

Strong knowledge of contract law and procurement processes.

Proficiency in English is a must, Arabic is preferred.

Excellent negotiation and communication skills.

Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

Proficiency in contract management software and tools.
