Job Title: Contract Administrator
Position Reports to: Business Development Manager
Location: Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia
SUMMARY: The Contract Administrator is responsible for administering contracts throughout their lifecycle, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations, maintaining accurate records, coordinating with internal departments and clients, and supporting commercial activities to minimize contractual risks while maximizing operational efficiency.
PRIMARY FUNCTIONS AND ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prepare, review and administer client contracts, service agreements, NDAs and subcontract agreements.
- Maintain contract registers and ensure all contractual documentation is properly filed and controlled.
- Monitor contract milestones, expiry dates, renewals and deliverables.
- Coordinate with Operations, Finance, Procurement and Legal departments regarding contractual obligations.
- Review tender and contract documents to identify commercial and contractual risks.
- Prepare contract correspondence including notices, variation orders, claims and amendments.
- Support commercial negotiations during tendering and post-award stages.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and client contractual requirements.
- Assist in dispute resolution and contractual clarification with clients.
- Generate contractual reports for management.
EDUCATION / CERTIFICATION / KNOWLEDGE:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Law, Engineering or related discipline.
- Knowledge of FIDIC or similar contract forms is preferred.
- Excellent understanding of commercial and contractual practices.
- Demonstrated proficiency in the Microsoft Office environment including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project and Outlook.
EXPERIENCE:
- 5–8 years’ experience in contract administration, preferably within Facility Management, Construction or Engineering.
SKILLS/ABILITIES:
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Strong negotiation skills.
- High attention to detail.
- Excellent document management skills.
- Strong analytical and organizational abilities.
- Knowledge of ERP systems is advantageous.
