Roles & Responsibilities
As a Senior Associate, you will assist team managers in delivering complex accounting advisory and capital markets engagements.
Responsibilities include:
Paying close attention to detail, multitasking, and conducting detailed research on complex accounting issues, including preparing technical papers for senior review.
Applying in-depth knowledge of IFRS to provide practical and commercial advice aligned with client objectives.
Developing and maintaining professional relationships with key client staff.
Managing multiple projects effectively, balancing tasks and deadlines.
Supporting business development and marketing activities to grow the team’s client base.
Assisting in preparing and delivering proposals for potential engagements.
Building positive relationships within the internal team and with other PwC service lines such as tax, legal, and deals.
Job Summary
Our Accounting Advisory Consulting team offers exciting opportunities to advise clients on a wide range of transactions, identifying issues and providing tailored accounting solutions. We seek an ambitious, highly motivated accountant with a strong technical background, client-focused approach, and the ability to work effectively in a demanding environment.
Skills and Competencies
Deep understanding of IFRS and general accounting principles.
Strong interest in enhancing technical accounting skills.
Fluency in English and Arabic, with excellent communication skills.
Willingness to travel within the Middle East based on project needs.
Ability to work independently and in teams, maintaining high-quality output under pressure.
Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and meet tight deadlines.
Educational Qualifications & Certifications
Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, or finance.
Accounting certification such as ACA, ACCA, CPA, or similar.
Experience
3-6 years of audit or relevant experience, preferably in a Big 4 firm.
Experience in Accounting Advisory or consulting is beneficial.
Experience in the GCC region is advantageous.
