Eligibility & Board Recognition
- American Board of Internal Medicine (Nephrology)
- UK CCT / MRCP + Nephrology Specialty Training
- Australian Fellowship Arab Board DM / DNB Nephrology / FCPS or equivalent recognised super‑specialty qualification
- Candidates should be eligible for Dubai Health Authority (DHA) / Department of Health Abu Dhabi (DOH) license conversion (full support provided).
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic kidney diseases (CKD, AKI, glomerular disorders)
- Oversee and manage hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis programmes
- Provide care for patients undergoing renal transplantation (pre‑ and post‑transplant management)
- Manage electrolyte imbalances, hypertension, and fluid disorders
- Conduct and interpret renal function tests, kidney biopsies, and imaging
- Provide inpatient and outpatient nephrology consultations
- Collaborate with ICU teams for critical care nephrology cases
- Participate in clinical governance, quality assurance, and infection control programmes
- Educate patients and families on long‑term kidney disease management
- Supervise junior doctors and contribute to academic and training programmes
