Responsibilities
Conduct thorough patient evaluations, including physical examinations, reviewing medical history, and interpreting diagnostic tests.
Develop and implement personalized treatment plans for patients with rheumatic diseases, considering their age, medical history, and symptoms.
Prescribe and evaluate the effectiveness of medications.
Provide support and education to patients and their families.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care.
Participate in medical research and contribute to advancements in pediatric rheumatology.
Supervise and guide junior staff, and engage in training activities.
Qualifications
Medical degree from an accredited institution and relevant specialty certification.
Western-trained with experience in leading healthcare environments.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Consultant Pediatric Rheumatologist in a reputable healthcare facility.
Extensive knowledge of pediatric rheumatic diseases.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Positive, collaborative attitude and commitment to high-quality patient care.
