We are seeking a highly skilled Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon to join our team of healthcare professionals. Responsibilities
- Assess and diagnose patients presenting with a variety of orthopedic conditions
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans integrating surgical and conservative management
- Perform complex orthopedic surgical procedures, including joint reconstruction, arthroscopy, and trauma surgery
- Manage perioperative and postoperative care to optimize patient outcomes
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including physiotherapists, radiologists, and nursing staff
- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding treatment and rehabilitation
- Maintain detailed and accurate medical records in compliance with regulatory standards
- Engage in ongoing professional development and stay abreast of advances in orthopedic surgery
Requirements
- Medical degree (M.D. or equivalent) from an accredited medical school
- Completion of an accredited residency program in Orthopaedic Surgery
- Board certification or eligibility in Orthopaedic Surgery
- At least 5 years of clinical experience as an Orthopaedic Surgeon, preferably in a consultant role
- Extensive knowledge of musculoskeletal anatomy, diseases, and modern treatment techniques
- Proven ability to perform a broad range of orthopedic surgical procedures
- Excellent communication skills and a patient-centered approach
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary healthcare environment
- Fluent in English; proficiency in additional languages is advantageous
- Commitment to ethical practice and continuous professional growth
