AED/yr – AED/yrWe are in search of a dedicated Consultant Ophthalmologist to
join our team
of healthcare professionals. In this role, you will play a vital part in diagnosing, treating, and managing a range of eye disorders and surgical procedures, ensuring that our patients receive top-
quality care
in a supportive and
innovative
environment.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct thorough eye examinations and interpret diagnostic tests to identify conditions affecting vision
Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs
Perform intricate surgical procedures, including cataract surgery, corneal transplants, and other advanced ophthalmic surgeries
Provide pre-operative and post-operative care to ensure optimal recovery and
patient satisfaction
Educate patients about eye care, conditions, treatment options, and preventive measures
Collaborate with a
multidisciplinary
team to deliver holistic patient care and improve service delivery
Maintain detailed and accurate patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations
Engage in continuing
professional development
to stay abreast of advancements in ophthalmology
Requirements
Medical degree with specialization in Ophthalmology Current and unrestricted medical license to practice
A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Consultant Ophthalmologist Proven skills in performing a variety of ophthalmic surgical procedures
Strong analytical and
problem-solving
abilities
Excellent
communication
and interpersonal skills for effective patient interaction
Ability to work collaboratively in a
team-oriented
environment
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
Fluency in English; knowledge of additional languages is beneficial
