A leading, internationally accredited healthcare provider in UAE is expanding its minimally invasive, image-guided diagnostic and therapeutic intervention services and is seeking a highly skilled Consultant Interventional Radiologist to join its growing clinical team. Role Overview
The successful candidate will work within a collaborative, multidisciplinary clinical environment supported by experienced consultants, nurses, allied health professionals, radiographers, and modern diagnostic and interventional infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform image-guided vascular and non-vascular interventions using fluoroscopy, ultrasound, CT, and angiography
- Assess patients, obtain informed consent, plan procedures, and manage peri-procedural risks
- Perform procedures such as biopsies, drainages, embolisation, angioplasty, stenting, and venous access according to clinical expertise and facility privileges
- Interpret imaging findings and collaborate with surgery, oncology, nephrology, emergency medicine, and critical care teams
- Maintain radiation safety, sterile technique, procedural documentation, and appropriate monitoring of complications
- Contribute to service development, multidisciplinary meetings, clinical audits, and governance initiatives
Requirements

- American Board of Radiology with IR/DR certification
- UK CCT / FRCR with interventional radiology training
- European Board of Interventional Radiology
- Royal College Certification (Canada)
- Australian FRANZCR
- Arab Board
- MD / DNB / FCPS or equivalent recognised specialist qualification
