MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB
Lead by example Site Engineers and Junior Engineers, along with direct manpower, to ensure effective communication and sharing of work plans among the team. Also, ensure proper coordination with other teams to avoid constraints that may affect the work schedule.
Key Responsibilities
Understand the mechanical construction scope and objectives, involving the team and ensuring technical feasibility.
Determine different project phases and their scheduling based on the baseline shared by the construction manager.
Implement method statements and risk assessments for construction activities.
Manage relationships between the team and other site teams.
Maintain proper communication with Mechanical Sub-contractors and other necessary parties.
Ensure the availability of equipment and materials required for construction activities.
Understand and execute construction plans considering site conditions to support the project baseline schedule.
Identify and report issues during execution, such as weather or emergencies, that may delay project completion, and support resolution methods.
Ensure resource availability, and source and allocate materials, equipment, and manpower to carry out mechanical construction work productively and compliantly.
Implement all company processes and procedures involved in construction.
Manage work teams, assign tasks, and recruit additional personnel when needed.
Report and escalate issues to Construction Management as necessary.
Measure team performance using available tools and techniques.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical discipline.
More than 9 years of experience in Power Station, Water Treatment, or Oil & Gas Construction fields.

Problem-solving, prevention, and decision-making skills.
