We are seeking an experienced Site Manager with a strong background in steel structure construction to oversee and manage site operations across projects in the UAE. The successful candidate will ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with client specifications, UAE regulations, and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all day-to-day construction activities on site.
- Supervise steel structure erection, installation, and related civil works.
- Coordinate with project managers, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and client representatives.
- Ensure work is executed according to approved drawings, project specifications, and method statements.
- Develop and monitor project schedules to achieve milestones and deadlines.
- Allocate manpower, equipment, and materials efficiently.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality workmanship.
- Enforce Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) policies in accordance with UAE regulations.
- Review shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and erection plan before execution.
- Monitor subcontractor performance and ensure contractual obligations are met.
- Prepare progress reports for management.
- Attend project coordination meetings with clients, consultants, and internal teams.
- Manage inspections, testing, snagging, and project handover activities.
- Ensure compliance with local authority requirements and project documentation procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 10 years of construction experience, with at least 5 years in the UAE managing steel structure projects.
- Proven experience in industrial buildings, warehouses, factories, commercial buildings, or steel fabrication and erection projects.
- Strong understanding of structural steel construction methods and sequencing.
- Familiarity with UAE construction regulations, safety standards, and quality requirements.
- Valid UAE driving licence is preferred.
