Role Description
We are seeking a highly experienced Construction Manager to lead and control all on-site activities and subcontractors for major road and bridge infrastructure projects in Abu Dhabi
Key Responsibilities:
Your tasks and responsibilities shall include, but are not limited to:
Site Management & Supervision
- Oversee day-to-day site operations for infrastructure works and ensure all activities are executed according to approved plans, specifications, and project schedules.
- Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and direct labor involved in infrastructure construction to ensure efficient and optimal use of resources.
- Ensure all work is performed in compliance with safety standards, environmental regulations, and site-specific rules.
Quality Assurance & Compliance
- Implement and enforce QA/QC procedures to ensure project standards are consistently met.
- Monitor site workmanship and material compliance with project specifications.
- Ensure all construction activities meet local and national regulatory requirements, including necessary permits and approvals.
Communication & Reporting
- Coordinate with consultants, clients, and project stakeholders to ensure smooth communication and progress updates.
- Prepare and submit regular progress reports, site logs, and documentation to management.
- Address and resolve issues that may affect progress, quality, or safety.
Team Leadership & Workforce Management
- Lead and supervise the site team, promoting collaboration, efficiency, and accountability.
- Assign tasks, monitor performance, and provide guidance and support as needed.
- Ensure the workforce is aligned with project goals and safety requirements.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
- Experience: Minimum 15 years of construction experience, with mandatory hands-on experience in infrastructure works including roads & bridges.
