Position: Construction Manager – Fabrication Yard (Oil & Gas)
Construction Manager – Fabrication Yard (Oil & Gas):
Responsible for the overall planning, execution, and delivery of fabrication yard activities in oil & gas projects, ensuring safe, timely, and cost-effective completion in line with project requirements.
Oversees all yard operations including structural, piping, mechanical, and welding works, while managing execution plans, schedules, and resources to ensure smooth workflow. Coordinates with engineering, procurement, QA/QC, and project teams to ensure compliance with project specifications, international standards, and client requirements, while monitoring progress and implementing corrective actions to avoid delays.
Ensures strict adherence to HSE standards and leads site teams, supervisors, and subcontractors to maintain productivity and discipline. Manages manpower, equipment, and materials efficiently, reviews technical documents prior to execution, and ensures constructability and compliance.
Also responsible for client coordination, inspections, risk management, reporting, documentation, and successful project completion and handover.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering with 15+ years of oil & gas fabrication yard experience, strong leadership and coordination skills, and knowledge of ASME, API, and ASTM standards, with proven experience in managing large teams and EPC fabrication projects.
