Location: Doha, Qatar (with frequent travel to offshore sites)
Contract Type: Project-based assignment
Project: Offshore platform development (major gas field)
Role Summary:
The Construction Manager will be the senior-most individual accountable for the delivery of offshore fabrication and installation scopes. Based in Doha with site visits to fabrication yards and offshore platforms, the Construction Manager will oversee the performance of subcontractors, manage construction execution strategies, and ensure alignment with the overall project schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage offshore construction and fabrication scopes from home office and site.
Ensure safety, quality, and schedule compliance during installation and tie-in phases.
Oversee subcontractors, QA/QC teams, and site coordinators.
Act as the single point of contact for all site construction activities under your scope.
Reports to the Project Manager.
Requirements:
15+ years in offshore construction, with a strong background in EPCI projects.
Demonstrated experience in managing fabrication yards and offshore installation teams.
Excellent leadership, planning, and risk mitigation skills.
Familiarity with Qatar Energy or similar operating environments is a plus.
