Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager to lead site-based supervision activities across structural, architectural, and MEP disciplines on this prestigious high-rise mixed-use development.

Reporting to the Resident Engineer, the Construction Manager will be responsible for managing discipline engineers and inspectors, coordinating contractors, ensuring quality and safety compliance, and driving construction progress in line with approved designs, specifications, Saudi authority requirements, and FIDIC-based contractual obligations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead day-to-day construction supervision activities across multiple towers and podium structures.
  • Manage and coordinate Structural, Architectural, and MEP supervision teams.
  • Monitor contractor performance, workmanship, sequencing, and productivity.
  • Ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and authority approvals.
  • Review and oversee shop drawings, material submissions, and inspection requests.
  • Identify and escalate technical, commercial, and schedule risks.
  • Coordinate interfaces between trades on complex high-rise structures.
  • Support testing & commissioning and structured handover processes.
  • Contribute to progress reporting, risk management, and stakeholder coordination meetings.
  • Enforce strict QA/QC and HSE compliance standards.

Mandatory Project Experience Profile

Because this is a high-rise mixed-use development with towers up to 40 floors, candidates must have:

High-Rise Experience (Non-Negotiable)

  • Supervision or construction management experience on towers with 30+ floors minimum
  • Ideally, exposure to 40–50+ floor buildings

Experience managing:

  • High-rise structural systems
  • Deep foundations and large basements
  • Vertical transportation systems
  • Façade systems for tall buildings

Candidates with only low-rise, villa, or small-scale projects will not be considered.

Mixed-Use / Complex Developments experience must include:

  • Mixed-use developments OR
  • Hospitality / 5-star hotel projects
  • Large podium and basement structures

Single-discipline-only experience will not be sufficient.

Candidate Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
  • 15+ years’ total experience with strong site-based construction supervision background.
  • Proven leadership on high-rise tower projects (30+ floors minimum).
  • GCC experience, preferably in Saudi Arabia
  • Experience managing multi-disciplinary supervision teams.
  • Strong understanding of FIDIC contract environments.
  • Experience managing contractors, sequencing works, and resolving site challenges.
  • Strong coordination, reporting, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-rise site environment.
