We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Manager to join our team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. As a Construction Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and coordinating all aspects of our construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets for construction projects
Coordinate and supervise construction teams, subcontractors, and suppliers
Ensure compliance with local building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards
Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and address any issues or delays
Manage project resources, including labor, materials, and equipment
Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to resolve technical issues
Prepare and present progress reports to senior management and clients
Implement and maintain effective communication channels among all project participants
Identify and mitigate potential risks to project success
Negotiate contracts and manage relationships with vendors and subcontractors
Ensure adherence to environmental and sustainability guidelines in construction practices
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
5-10 years of experience in construction management, preferably in the UAE
Proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale construction projects
Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, building codes, and safety regulations
Excellent leadership and team management skills
Proficiency in construction management software and digital tools for on-site data management
Experience in contract administration and negotiation
Solid understanding of project financial management and cost control
Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Outstanding communication skills in English, both written and verbal
Familiarity with sustainable construction practices and LEED certification processes
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multicultural environment
Valid UAE work permit or eligibility to obtain one
