Position: Construction Lead (Cables, MEG & BVS)
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Sciences or Engineering.
Knowledge and/or Experience
Minimum 8 years of experience with large projects in construction-related disciplines (e.g., construction, installation, fabrication, execution, completion, hook-up, etc.) within the Oil & Gas Industry. This includes at least 1 year in a supervisory role, overseeing service/vendor personnel.
The Construction Lead is responsible for managing onshore construction activities for Offshore Pipelines & Cables Projects, ensuring project objectives are met.
Experience working with Oil and Gas companies, contractors, service companies, or heavy construction firms. Broad knowledge of design standards, specifications, codes, and safety criteria related to major fabrication, transport, installation, brownfield execution, and hook-up as applicable to the project scope.
Knowledge of offshore facilities and structures, onshore facilities, or yard operations relevant to the project scope. Experience working within large-scale organizations in projects, subsurface operations, etc.
Proven ability to work effectively with people from diverse cultural backgrounds.
Global experience working with contractors involved in constructing Offshore LNG production facilities.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on teamwork and effective interaction within a Project Management Team (PMT).
