LITCO Group is seeking an experienced Construction Engineer to join our team for steel structure, aluminium, façade projects in Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating project activities, managing subcontractors, monitoring site progress, and ensuring compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and client requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, and oversee activities from project commencement through completion.
- Coordinate site operations involving steel structures, aluminium systems, façades, and related works.
- Manage and coordinate structural works involving columns, beams, slabs, and other structural elements, ensuring smooth project execution from the planning phase through construction, inspections, testing, commissioning (where applicable), and final project handover.
- Ensure all activities are carried out in accordance with approved drawings, technical specifications, method statements, and project schedules.
- Liaise with consultants, clients, inspectors, subcontractors, and internal project teams to ensure smooth project execution.
- Review IFC drawings, shop drawings, BOQs, and other technical documents before execution.
- Monitor site progress, identify potential delays or technical issues, and implement corrective actions where required.
- Prepare, submit, and track MIR and WIR/WMR documentation to facilitate timely inspections and approvals.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, progress reports, daily site activities, and project documentation.
- Coordinate manpower, materials, equipment, and subcontractor activities to achieve project milestones.
- Ensure all construction activities comply with company quality standards, contractual requirements, approved procedures, and safety regulations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a related Engineering discipline.
- Minimum 4 years of Construction Engineer experience in Saudi Arabia.
- Proven experience in steel structure, aluminium, façade, or similar projects.
- Must have hands-on experience managing projects involving columns, beams, slabs, and structural elements from the planning phase through execution, inspections, and final project completion.
- Strong understanding of construction methodologies, site execution, and project coordination.
- Experience managing subcontractors and coordinating with consultants, inspectors, clients, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Hands-on experience preparing, submitting, and following up on MIR and WIR/WMR documentation.
- Ability to read and interpret IFC drawings, structural drawings, shop drawings, BOQs, specifications, and project documents.
- Excellent communication, leadership, planning, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced construction environment while maintaining quality, safety, and project schedules.
