Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Cost Controller to join our construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing project costs, tracking financial performance, and ensuring budget compliance. This role requires strong analytical skills, experience in construction cost management, and the ability to collaborate with project teams to optimize financial performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Cost Management & Budgeting:
Develop and maintain project cost control systems, budgets, and financial forecasts.
Monitor actual costs against budgeted expenditures and identify variances.
Implement cost control measures to optimize project spending.
Financial Reporting & Analysis:
Prepare regular cost reports, cash flow forecasts, and financial summaries for management.
Provide financial insights and recommendations to improve cost efficiency.
Assist in preparing cost estimates for new projects and variations.
Procurement & Contract Compliance:
Coordinate with procurement and contracts teams to ensure cost-effective purchasing.
Review vendor invoices, purchase orders, and contracts to confirm alignment with budgets.
Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or timelines.
Project Monitoring & Risk Management:
Track labor, materials, and overhead costs to ensure project profitability.
Assess financial risks and develop mitigation strategies.
Conduct periodic audits to ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.
Minimum 5+ years UAE Experience as a cost controller.
Strong knowledge of cost control techniques, financial analysis, and budgeting.
Proficiency in cost management software (e.g., ERP, SAP, Primavera, or equivalent).
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Experience with contract and procurement management is a plus.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED5,000.00 – AED6,000.00 per month
