Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Concierge Coordinator – Luxury Alterations, based in Abu Dhabi. The role seeks a highly polished and detail-oriented Concierge Coordinator to serve as the primary liaison between our tailoring workshops and corporate luxury fashion brands. This role is responsible for ensuring all alteration work originating from luxury retail partners is completed within a strict 3-hour turnaround time while maintaining exceptional quality standards. Moreover, the Concierge Coordinator will act as the single point of contact between fashion boutiques and Stitch In Time, ensuring seamless communication, service excellence, and brand-aligned client experiences.The role involves providing exceptional concierge services and ensuring smooth front-of-house operations. Responsibilities include welcoming clients, handling inquiries, coordinating with tailoring specialists, and overseeing seamless communication to deliver premium customer experiences. The Coordinator will also assist with reception duties and maintain professional records of schedules and client preferences.
Qualifications
- Serve as the primary liaison between luxury fashion boutiques and the tailoring workshop.
- Coordinate and manage all incoming alteration requests from corporate luxury brand partners.
- Ensure all alteration work is completed within a 3-hour turnaround window while maintaining premium craftsmanship standards.
- Monitor workflow and prioritize urgent or VIP client requests.
- Conduct garment pinning and fitting sessions when required, ensuring accuracy and client satisfaction.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with retail teams, brand representatives, and tailoring staff.
- Perform quality control checks prior to garment return.
- Track alteration status, maintain records, and provide real-time updates to retail partners.
- Troubleshoot service issues promptly to uphold luxury-level service expectations.
- Support operational efficiency between front-of-house retail environments and back-of-house tailoring operations and effectively address inquiries
- Professional demeanor with the ability to excel under pressure in a fast-paced luxury retail environment
- Fluency in English, with additional language skills in Arabic being an advantage
- Previous experience in luxury retail, fashion, or tailoring industries is a plus
- Flexibility to work weekends and adhere to the store’s operational schedule
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in retail luxury fashion environment (3-5 years).
- Hands-on experience in tailoring and garment alterations (including pinning and fittings).
- Strong understanding of garment construction and alteration techniques.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strict turnaround deadlines.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
- Professional demeanor aligned with luxury brand standards.
- Ability to manage multiple requests while maintaining composure and service excellence.
Preferred Skills
- Experience working directly with corporate luxury fashion brands.
- Knowledge of luxury fabrics and designer garment construction.
