Compliance Senior Specialist, Fin Ops Compliance Team
This position serves as the primary regulatory compliance and implementation specialist for LATAM operations, focusing on analyzing and managing statutory deployments and modifications across the region. The role centers on comprehensive evaluation of regulatory changes, particularly the upcoming Brazil Tax Reform (launching Jan’26), requiring thorough analysis of new requirements and their seamless integration into operational processes. The position holder will proactively identify regulatory challenges, collaborate with Fin Ops verticals, and implement solutions that maintain both compliance and operational efficiency.
About the team
The Compliance Team strives to promote an organizational culture that encourages ethical conduct and adherence to compliance regulations within government requirements. Additionally, we aim to reinforce preventive controls and eliminate deficiencies in our processes, which are key to supporting our external and internal stakeholders’ government compliance needs.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field
3+ years of experience in finance or a related analytical field
3+ years of experience applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses
3+ years of experience identifying, leading, and executing opportunities to improve, automate, standardize, or simplify finance or business tools and processes
Advanced verbal and written English language skills
Proven experience working on LATAM tax legislation
Track record of exceptional interpersonal skills, including experience driving complex communications plans
Professional proficiency in Excel: pivot tables, data presentation, formulas, conditionals, etc.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
4+ years of experience participating in continuous improvement projects to scale and improve controllership with measurable results
MBA or CPA
Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (e.g., SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)
Advanced verbal and written Portuguese language skills
