They have created design schematics, writen and install computer programs, logics, and test the efficacy of the installed program along with scada. Worked on schneider modicon plc, eco structure machine scada, eco structure buildings and has experience on integartion.
Commissioning PLC Programmer Job Description
We are looking to hire a skilled PLC programmer to design and install controller, system software for our clients. You will be traveling to clients’ locations, analyzing system requirements, writing and installing custom programmable logic code, testing system efficiency, and providing operational support for standalone and centralised plc scada based system.
To ensure success as a PLC programmer, you should have excellent knowledge of machine mechanics, a logical approach, and the ability to work with minimal supervision. As a skilled PLC programmer should be able to easily identify and design a robust program fit for any mechanical or electrical purpose including integration to 3rd party system over bacnet , modbus, snmp, etc..
PLC Programmer Responsibilities:
Traveling to clients’ locations.
Meeting with clients to discuss their mechanical or electrical automation needs.
Drawing electrical or mechanical schematics to demonstrate how processes will work.
Have worked on and is able to check, rectify electrical panels, wiring, power.
Has a through knowledge of various sensors, its installation, power requirements and its use.
Developing and installing machine programs using automation software and custom coding languages on various models like ladder, objects, scripting etc…
Determining machine automation test criteria before the final installation.
Testing automated systems for efficiency, safety, and reliability.
Troubleshooting system & field errors.
Making of 3D graphics on SCADA
Good knowledge of electrical control panel wiring and operations.
Knowledge of It networks, networking, addressing, server/workstation setup for software’s, etc..
Overseeing and performing the successful installation of PLC programs including integration with 3rd party systems based on open protocols and making of graphics.
Documenting development processes.
Providing clients with technical support.
Installation of centralised scada system and ensuring its operation as required.
Successfully done Installation, testing, commissioning and handover of the plc and system along with T & C reports.
